South Florida Real Estate News – April 2017
Once again, here are the biggest news stories in South Florida Real Estate. April hasn’t been a particularly newsworthy month, which is overall great! The less news the stable the market is which is ideal for every average homeowner.
The big three stories of this month are the are the renovations made to Motorola Park in Plantation. The repealed fears of Chinese influence on our Real Estate climate, and the finalized construction of the Panorama Towers in Brickell, the tallest in South Florida.
Motorola Park Renovation – The Motorola Park has been renovated and received the Silicon Valley treatment. It is now anticipated that startups and larger tech front will begin emerging in South Florida. With other businesses such as Chewy, already capitalizing on the local economy, the Motorola park is aiming to fit the mold that many people venture west for.
Chinese Fears – There has been a lot of fear recently surrounding Chinese influence on Real Estate, specifically South Florida’s. Between the now-rescinded claims of Trump stating that Chinese has been flipping their market currency and the real estate moguls telling people to maintain stability first, it’s been turbulent for people who are deciding whether or not to buy.
Panorama Tower – The tallest Tower in South Florida has finally broken ground in Brickell. At 85 stories high, it is the tallest ever drawn up for Florida since most people are nervous about the limestone beneath. But this has been a fundamentally well-thought-out process and is considered a triumph!
