Real Estate News – May 2017

Here’s another set of real estate and lifestyle news for South Florida for the month of 2017. We are going to cover the three biggest stories that we believe will affect South Florida the most! Enjoy!

Real Estate News May 2017

South Florida REal EstateUber v Lyft – Lyft and Uber keep fighting for the South Florida Market. Between Uber gifting free rides for those in South Miami, Lyft is also fighting their share of the market. This is a great time to be a driver for lyft and uber and is creating a competitive atmosphere that is benefitting both drivers and passengers.

Nicole Kushner Meyer – A story that is surfacing is that Nicole Kushner Meyer has approached and attempted to get Chinese investors to cross-purchase land in New Jersey. This is a big deal because of Jared Kushner, her brother, is a close advisor to Trump, who hasn’t been incredibly favorable to the Chinese investors in the past. This might also detract Chinese investment from South Florida, where they have been prone to lean in the past.

Canadian Investors Look to South Florida – A Canadian investor has begun to start operations in South Florida, during this period they will begin to court those who are seeking to invest in this booming real estate economy.
